• Stick to a sleep schedule. Go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, including on the weekends
• Ensure you get enough sleep, most adults require from 6 – 8 hours, so avoid sleeping more than 8 hours
• Keep your room cool, dark, and quiet. Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smartphones, from the bedroom. Use sleeping mask or snore mask for comfortable sleep.
• Avoid heavy or large meals and caffeine within a couple of hours of bedtime. The effects of caffeine can last for several hours, perhaps up to 24 hours, so the chances of it affecting sleep are significant.
